I think it's no secret that Arnold Talk has had a great impact on the Arnold community. More and more Arnold residents are using it as a tool to reach out and help their fellow residents in our great town. Arnold Talk currently averages over a half million hits a month (stats below). The site has a huge potential to reach thousands more every month. Here are the 2004 - 2008 stat screenshots.
Asking Price: $8000 Hosting will be included for the first year. After that, it runs $34.95/month or you can move it to your own server/hosting account elsewhere. Hosting-related support is included as well. Last summer I purchased a bunch of plasti-cor signs, of which I probably still have about 20 or so left. Those are yours. You will own arnoldtalk.com and arnoldtalks.com and any other domain names I may have forgotten I own related to this site. Subdomain sites will be included too. These include hotels.arnoldtalk.com and vote.arnoldtalk.com, both which receive a decent amount of traffic on their own. If you promote the hotels site more, you can make nice commissions just off that alone. You will have all data from the last four years, including full access to the database, all user info and available forum posts. I just paid a company to create the new logo, and will furnish you with all files related to that, along with T-shirts which I just had printed (see a recent post for a pic). I have a lot of artwork from past printing, flyers and other items which I will provide to you as well. You'll get all the passwords, admin codes and anything else I have. I will volunteer up to 2 hours of my time to teach you how to run the website (It's really not that hard) and answer your questions. Advertisers: Most current advertisers are my web design clients. You would have to contact them to see if they'd like to renew advertising with you. That part isn't up to me. All current advertiser info will be turned over to you, along with related due dates, etc. The Gossip section is also generating revenue. You will get those due dates and subscription renewals as well. I think your platform is a grossly underestimated tool that could possibly be taken in 1,000,000 different directions. The most obvious would be a small media or advertising company. Maybe through community awareness such as such as Newspapers, Direct mailings, Chamber of Commerce even City Government. What a place to simply display and show that these influential groups really care what the community has to say. Unfortunately for most of them, I don’t believe they will really ever get it. They will regret it when they are left behind with the antiquated ways of media including and especially print. Their lack of understanding and wanting to understand the new ways of communication will leave then all in the dark. Side note these advertising and communication outlets have become in my humble opinion virtually non-affective, especially in comparison to what you have been able to do for my business. Thanks again look forward to continuing SEO work with your company. Hey hasn’t Anheuser Busch put their name on the local stadiums in St. Louis since the 1960s? What’s the deal with that and most notably in recent years many other big conglomerates have been coping them? I have mixed feelings about your decision to sell. I will be sorry to see this site go if you cannot get a buyer.
