Cases of strep throat are on the rise in Arnold.  According to a doctor at the St. Anthony's Urgent Care facility in Arnold, at least ten cases were treated yesterday just at their facility, with what looked like another day of the same today.

Strep is usually treated with an antibiotic such as amoxycillin.  Recently Schnucks announced a plan to give these antibiotics out free of charge.  According to their website , Schnucks wants to help do what they can to provide wellness and healthcare to their local communities, and this is one way to accomplish their goal.

It may far from a record setting season for firearms hunters, but the ever-growing number of bowhunters in Missouri let their arrows do the talking this past season by taking the largest amount of whitetails ever.

Hunters in Jackson County alone arrowed a whopping 317 mature bucks during the archery season. This is more than Andrew, Buchanan, Clinton, and Dekalb Counties combined. Jefferson County (south of St. Louis) had even more, with a season total of 357 mature bucks.

ARNOLD, Mo. -- O'Fallon is quickly becoming the biggest turnaround story of the boys basketball season.

The Panthers have reversed a 2-8 start with an 8-2 run that left them at .500 Friday following an 83-70 championship game victory over Fort Zumwalt West at the Fox Tournament.
