Scout Troop Spaghetti Fundraiser

BSA Troop 557 will be hosting an All You Can Eat Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, April 18 at St Mark UCC. The event, scheduled from 4:00PM-8:00PM will include spaghetti, salad, vegetable, bread, dessert and a drink.

$8 Adults $5 Kids (10 and under)

They will also have a basket raffle and a 50/50 raffle.

One Dead in Arnold Fire

A fire at a mobile home has claimed the life of an Arnold resident.. Authorities have not identified the person killed in the fire that broke out Wednesday night at the Starling Mobile Home Community in Arnold. Fire officials confirm one person was trapped inside and died. The home was destroyed. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Add Comment (0)

Local shooting club has made impact nationally

Action pistol shooting is a niche sport, one that few have tried and even less have mastered. Some of the best shooters in the nation, however, reside in the metro-east.

Team Detonics is a local action pistol shooting squad that competes on the regional and national level. Sponsored by Detonics, a firearm manufacturing company based in Belleville, the five-member team consists of accomplished shooters who have each won their divisions or placed in the top five in every regional match they've competed.
