Today is the day that several of the areas council members and candidates have waited for. Today they will discover their fate. ArnoldTalk encourages everyone in the city limits to get out and vote today!
Will Arnold continue to be run by the same men and women that have steered this town to its current path, or will the residents choose new faces and the changes they will bring? ArnoldTalk has worked hard at providing the best information about all the candidates that are currently up for election today. We have even created a website specifically for the residents to find out about all the candidates. In Ward one, there is only one person on the ballot, Mr. Matt Hay. Matt is taking the place of incumbent Paul Vinson, who has decided to take some time off from serving. Mr. Hay has provided a great interview for the residents of Arnold. Mr. Brian Waldrop, who missed the initial deadline to file for council seat, is also running as a write-in candidate. He did not provide AT with any information. In Ward two, there is a two-man race. Incumbent John Brazeal is running against Mr. Jerel Poor. Mr. Brazeal, the subject of many threads in the AT forums, did not provide AT with any information. Mr. Poor did submit his interview answers for the residents to read. The ward three race is just the opposite of ward one, with a candidate asking not to be elected. Brinnon Morrison, whose name is on the ballot, has asked the residents of this town not to vote for him, as his work schedule has recently changed and he would be unable to fairly dedicate his time to the residents. That leaves Ms. Joyce Deckman as the lone candidate for the ward. Ms. Deckman did not provide AT with information about her campaign. And finally ward four - Mr. Al Ems is running unopposed. He did not provide AT with any campaign materials, and is the shoe-in for another two-year term. |
