I want to send some thanks out to a few people. First to Cindy at Skips Place Too for providing the venue for this event. The band, City Lights for doing a great job performing the classic rock the crowd came to hear. Tom Snyder for the great barbeque that people lined up around the block to eat, Kenrick's for providing the meat and food supplies at a deep discount and of course the choo choo train pit! Also to the Rams for their generous donation, along with the Cardinals packages, the autographed balls, all of the baskets that were donated. Kammerlein Electric, Paula Schlichtig for the tables, chairs, pop-up tents. Connie Bequette for the hook-up on the band and Mike Primo for putting together a great flyer. To all that showed up at the event another big THANK YOU. All total to date, we raised $4840 for the family. There will be four tickets end zone Rams ticket going on EBay to be auctioned along with a set of bleachers. A Facebook page and a trust fund is being set up also. Mr. Simpson is scheduled to be transferred from the hospital in Kansas City to one here sometime tomorrow. Lets hope everything goes smoothly.
