The Steak n Shake at Arnold Crossroads is no more.  Crews have finally demolished the building this week.

Originally the company said that they would be tearing the building down by the end of 2007, yet it remained open until the end of January 2008.

The McDonald's near the same location was originally slated to be down before 2008 as well, but they are still open.  Near the end of January, the building was only serving drive-thru customers because of a water main break.  They closed the lobby to guests. 

A new Steak n Shake is going to be built on the same property (and hopefully their drive-thru is a little easier to navigate!).

The closest is probably Gravois Bluffs, your favorite place!

There is also one on Lemay Ferry, and one in Festus.
