Fox Choirs
written by Nick, April 11, 2008
Fox Choirs will be there also trying to raise money for their trip coming up. A few of the kids are having trouble coming up with the money to go, and the teacher wants all of them to have this opportunity. So, if you see the table stop by. Not sure what all they will be doing, bake sale, face painting raffles? I will be taking orders for choir DVDs and CDs.

I have attended this event for the past several years and one complaint I have heard is their is a lack of Arnold Elected officials there to represent the city. Any of you newly elected officials or Officials who have been in for a while might want to stop by and talk with the citizens.

Hi, can someone who has been to a previous year, sum up what the show includes? I'm looking for patio/outdoor furniture-would I find something there?

Things change year to year, however I have never seen patio/outdoor furniture at the event.

Went again this year. Talked to several people about elected officials on hand. Only one seen was our new police officer/school board member. He was on the job, in uniform, and doing a great job as always. Last year I saw first hand how important it is to have an officer in the room during an event like this as a senior citizen went down on the floor and had help on the way in seconds.

I just wish more elected official would come out for these events. It is year after year that this event is not attended. In years past people asked why I was the only one. This year I was just asked, "Where are they?"

Home & Garden Show
written by Doug Belleville, April 18, 2008
Each show that has been put on I have participated in. This was probably the best traffic wise, and we have had some good years.

Dave, I have a complaint as well.

I am a member of the Arnold Chamber of Commerce. Admittedly I was not at the last meeting where this may have been brought up. With that said, why would the Chamber of Commerce not sponsor such and event. It is supposed to be about promoting businesses and Arnold commerce right? What is the job of the ACOC if not to promote the Arnold Home and Garden Show? This is not an isolated incident. I watch my email pretty close and not one email that I can recall from the ACOC mentioned the show. (Please Correct me if I am wrong)

I will say one thing for The Rock Newspaper and its owner Ron Clark who each year has sponsored and put on the show,
Thanks you from this Arnold business.

Maybe a poll question is applicable here?
