Fox Warriors Offer Football Parents Special Reserved Seating for 2008 Season Print E-mail

For just a small donation, your rear-end doesn’t have to be numb by the end of the Fox Warriors home football games any more.

The Warriors football team, led by coach Nick Gianino, has announced a new opportunity for parents to help out the team – season tickets to the recently installed stadium seats – the best (and most comfortable) seats in the house.

The $100 tickets, which have just been released for sale, will be for all home Varsity games this season.  Included in every sale is a free meal – a hot dog, pretzel or nachos, and a drink at each game.  You’ll get free entry to the game, one free ticket to the 50/50 drawing, a Fox t-shirt, and a Domino’s Pizza card.

The fundraiser is headed by Michael Saputo of the football team’s parent’s club. “We’ve already sold a few of these, and we only have eighteen total. I think we’ll sell out this year,” says Saputo.

A sellout is very likely.  Coach Gianino has taken the Varsity team from a losing record to last year’s 8-2 season.  Attendance is up, as is the amount of boys playing.  “The boys have worked hard this year,” says Gianino.

He’s right, the boys from all teams – Varsity, Junior Varsity and Freshmen have trained all summer long. “Our teams deserve the best, “adds Gianino. “The season tickets are a great way for the team to raise funds for important things – like feeding the boys before each game.”

The stadium seats will be for sale through Thursday August 28th and are available on a first come-first served basis.  They will also be available for Junior Varsity and Freshman games.

For more information, contact Michael Saputo at 314-401-8338.

Might be a dumb question, however title might be a bit misleaading. Are the tickets available for purchase by those other than the Fox Football parents?

Not a dumb question. Yes, they are available to the first people that buy them. They don't have to be parents.

When I wrote the article, they asked me to add "Parents" to the title, so I did.
