Seems Commerce Bank has finally made some moves to get the broken sign fixed.  I was told today that they are currently waiting on insurance info, bids from contractors, etc. 

However, a few hours later I was told that the sign is being taken down.

In a related note, I've also heard that the bank is looking to relocate to a different part of the north end.  This is another part of the reason it took so long to get the sign fixed.  They apparently intend to stay in the north end, just looking at other locations, such as the old Hardees.   Being closer to that intersection would probably be a good move for them.

Its good to know they are planning on staying in that part of town, especially with so many other businesses abandoning the area.

I agree that they should move locations. Their present location is a pain to get to. Especially when the rush hour traffic comes down Jeffco. Plus a lot of banks are choosing more elaborate architectural designs for their banks.
