Dentist Homer Tourkakis' fight to keep his property goes to the Missouri Supreme Court today. The Arnold dentist has been in business for 23 years, and (as you all know) the city of Arnold would love to yank the property out from under him. Local TV stations and bloggers are covering this, so no sense in me rehashing it out. Below are links to various stories related to the case. Supreme Court Audio KSDK IJ Comments (3)

Why instead of taking the dr's property - don't you offer him a part in Arnold Commons...just add his business to the development...your already building and his business continues to thrive...

Dr. Tourkakis is the "outsider" he, within his rights, chose to use his own resources ( not the city's ) to protect not only his rights but all our property rights. My admiration and respect for his efforts are without question, a reflection of the tax paying citizens of Arnold supporting his and our best interests. The City's use of eminant domain ( which will be the determing factor that the State Supreme Court will rule on shortly ) will stand out as nothing more that a rebuke to this (third class city's) effort to initiate an illegal takeover of private property. When the Court rules in his favor, justice will be served. The tax paying citizens of Arnold will pay the ultimate price. The law suits and damage awards that will be determined at a later date, both here in Arnold and state wide will be a direct result of this lawsuit. So to the citizen's of the state, remember "WHO" to mayor is of Arnold!!!!! Do you really want to support such an individual for a position in State Government, especially when his track record is nothing more than "suspect"?????
Something to think about, something to consider! Remember that which you support and vote for has a blemished track record. Just watch and see. In the event this unfolds as I have predicted, please remember those ELECTED CITY OFFICIALS who in the effort to enhance the pockets of a "few" have burdened the tax paying citizens of Arnold with a tax load of 8.875 for years to come............ I just found out about this. There is actually a link to where you can hear oral arguments as they are being posted. I thought that was pretty interesting that the Supreme Court offers this.

Then select the link about 3/4 the way down the page.
