The City of Arnold recently welcomed national sporting goods retailer Hibbett Sports Inc. to the city The new store opened May 3, employing eight full-time and part-time team members.
The Alabama-based retailer boasts a large selection of athletic shoes, sports equipment and apparel. The opening of the Arnold store marked the 22nd location in Missouri and the second location in Jefferson County."Arnold, Missouri, is a great fit for our company," said Nissan Joseph, company president and CEO. "We believe this convenient new location in the Jefferson County plaza will be a win-win for Hibbett and our customers."
Hibbett Sports provides equipment for popular team sports such as football, basketball, baseball and soccer, but the company also carries equipment and apparel for weightlifting, general fitness and boxing.
"We research the markets we enter to learn what the customers of that area want from a sporting goods store," Joseph said. "Then we track our sales and orders to continue fine-tuning our stores and our product selection to stay completely up to date with what our customers need from us."
The store is located at 3819 Vogel Road.
